Start dates and short breaks
Holidays in Pheasant, Jackdaw, Lapwing and Robin commence on Saturdays, while in Swallow and Wren they commence on Fridays.
Long weekends and midweek breaks may be available in all the cottages during the low season (November to March) and in Swallow and Wren during the remainder of the year.
Christmas and New Year
Throstlenest offers the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful, rural and traditional festive holiday, and we offer special breaks at this time. A holly wreath on the door and a real, decorated tree in the cottage will enhance your enjoyment, as will the wine and ‘goodies’ provided.
Smoking/Pets
Please note that smoking is not permitted in Throstlenest cottages, and that we are sorry, but we do not accept pets.
How to book
Please phone us on 01969 623694 or e-mail us at info@throstlenestcottages.co.uk with your preferred dates to check availability and discuss your requirements. Once you have decided on a booking we will hold your reservation for four days.
Within those four days, please complete either the printable booking form or online booking form and send it to us by post, fax or e-mail. We also require a deposit which should be one third of the total cost of your holiday booking. We can accept this by cheque made payable to Throstlenest Holiday Cottages or by credit/debit card over the phone (telephone 01969 623694). On receipt of your booking form and deposit we will send you confirmation of your booking.
The balance of the cost must be paid three weeks before the start of your holiday, otherwise we reserve the right to consider the booking cancelled and to re-let the property.
